Declaration of Import

Import of goods into the European Union from third countries (including Switzerland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland). Customs declarations are made, customs criteria are met, required documents are prepared and submitted, licences are issued, customs duties and taxes are calculated. After the customs import declaration has been made, goods may be released for free circulation.

Declaration of Export

Export of goods out of the European Union Member States (including Switzerland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland). Customs declarations are made, customs criteria are met, required documents and licenses are prepared and submitted. Once the customs declaration of export has been made, the goods may leave the European Union.

Transit declaration, TIR

Movement of goods that have not undergone customs clearance between customs warehouses or between other countries.

Temporary storage declaration, TSD

Cargo storage outside EU at a goods warehouse without performing customs clearance procedures straight away.

Completing CMR

The CMR is the international road transport consignment note, which contains the necessary information about the consignor, the consignee, a description of goods, their quantity and weight, terms of delivery, and other information required for the movement of goods by road.

PVD (Food and Veterinary Service) and Phytosanitary Inspection

When importing goods from outside the European Union, the wooden packaging must undergo Phytosanitary Inspection, a relevant CHED-D document must be prepared, and the payment of the relevant State fees must be made.

EORI registration

All companies that carry out international transactions (exports, imports) must be registered in the Customs System of the Republic of Latvia. The EORI number is registered only once, and it has no expiry date.

Destruction of goods

We provide the process of destruction of goods, in accordance with the requirements of the SRS.
